The climate crisis has been mainly caused by wealthy industrialised nations in the global north, but it is the global south that suffers the worst effects. That means there is a racial inequality to climate change: people of colour are left to pick up the pieces from disasters caused by majority white countries. In this talk, writer and activist Jeremy Williams looks at how the two hot topics of race and climate change intersect, and how it affects global responses to the crisis.
